Cat has been in real estate for approximately 6 years. She holds the designation of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), is an affiliate of Quality Service Certification (QSC), has obtained the E-Pro designation and most recently has become a Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS). She has consistently been a mentor for new agents, has worked with Relocation companies and many families transferring into and out of the FM area.
Now a Barnesville resident, Cat enjoys the benefits of living in one of Fargo-Moorhead’s surrounding rural areas and working in Fargo. In past years she has served as the Secretary for the Barnesville Booster Club, has been active in Barnesville’s Potato Days, is an active member of The Lions Club and for the past three years has emceed the Miss Barnesville Competition; an event that has been a Barnesville event for 57 years.
Cat is a graduate of Fargo South High School. Following a few years in the FM area, she married Bill Yokom, also from Fargo, in 1979. Cat accompanied Bill, now a USAF retired Chief Master Sergeant, to several states and two foreign countries over a 20 year period. Cat was active in each community in which they were stationed.
While moving every three to four years as a military wife, Cat knows the fine distinction for buyers between finding a “house” and finding “the right home”. As a seller herself, she knows the importance of the right marketing and being aware of the specific target market.
A “transferee” many times over, Cat is aware of the highs and lows of buying, selling and moving and comes to the real estate business with years of first-hand experience.
