Daryl Braham of Prudential LRES Realty in Fargo, North Dakota was among the record number 10,000 Realtors® attending the National Association of Realtors® Midyear Legislative Meeting and Trade Expo in Washington, D.C.
Realtors® visited Capitol Hill to meeting with their senators and representatives and press their concerns on a variety of issues affecting homeowners, potential homebuyers and real estate in general. Among top concerns this season are small business health plans, disaster insurance, and banks in real estate.
“Getting the Small Business Health Plan passed is good not just for Realtors®, said Daryl Braham, CEO of Prudential LRES Realty. “It matters to all business owners or independent contractors who struggle to find quality, affordable health care for their employees and families. Realtors? are doing everything we can to see that small business health plan legislation is enacted.”
“Realtors care about our communities,” Braham said. “That’s why we come together each year to voice our concerns and share ideas with policymakers in Washington. We know we’ll see results when we keep our issues in front of our members of Congress.”
During the five-day meeting, Realtors attended seminars on the economy, public policy, equal opportunity and diversity, land use, property rights, the environment, international real estate and housing opportunities.
